Teamie is a young organisation that provides a cloud-based collaborative learning platform a.k.a. a learning management system (LMS) to education institutes and enterprises.
Teamie innovates and develops efficient tools for web and mobile platforms that make online learning more social and engaging.
As a start-up, Teamie had some complex accounting issues around employee share options, preference shares, addressing a going concern assumption by management, and other financial reporting matters. These issues required professional support and guidance so that management could provide meaningful financial statements to their stakeholders. These factors were a considerable challenge for Teamie as they were focused on growing the business.
Teamie’s management solicited S C Mohan PAC’s accounting team to advise and assist on major accounting matters. They reviewed Teamie’s requirements and accordingly advised, explained as well as drafted appropriate notes related to these accounting areas.
